Studio Policies and information:

Monday August 23rd - Fall classes begin

Closed for Thanksgiving  Wednesday - Friday

Closed for Christmas/New Years

Closed for Spring Break 

Closed For Memorial Day

*Classes WILL be held during teacher in-service and parent/teacher conference days.

*During inclement weather, the studio will follow the Huntsville Public School closings - make-up classes will not be given in this case.

*Tuition will be the same every month even if classes are missed.  Remember that some months have 5 weeks instead of 4.

Tuition

* All Tuition is monthly and must be prepaid and is due at the beginning of each month.  Please note, Tumble Express does not have a pay by class program and it is the responsibility of the student to make up any missed classes – the tuition will not be discounted for missed classes, holidays or snow days.  If it is necessary to mail out a statement for late tuition after the 10^th of each month there will be a $10.00 late fee added to the balance and this must be paid by the end of the month for the student to continue the following month. 

Attendance

Regular attendance is very important to skill progressions.   Students must arrive to class on time.  Students should attend each class for maximum benefit and progress.  If a student must miss a class, he or she may make up the absence in a similar class.  Please discuss this with the student’s teacher or the director.

Dress Code

*All students are required to wear gymnastics or dance attire.  Acceptable attire would include a leotard, dance shorts and jazz shoes for acrodance classes. 

*Students’ hair should be pulled back from their faces and off of their necks. 

*No jewelry.

Studio Rules

*All students need to demonstrate the utmost respect for other students and teachers.

*No horseplay is allowed on equipment before, during or after classes.

No gum, candy, snacks or drinks allowed in class except for water bottles.

*Adherence to the dress code will be expected. 

*All parents and students are asked to leave the studio as they found it to cut down on clean-up for the staff at the end of the evening.

Unattended Students                                                                       All students and children are to stay inside the Tumble Express building once arriving to Tumble Express until picked up by the responsible adult unless other arrangements have been directly made with a Tumble Express representative (Patty).  Children, even visiting friends,  are not allowed to leave at any time by themselves without an adult.  Current students are allowed to bring a friend to practice one-time, but before attending all prospective students must fill out and submit a registration and parent/liability form. 

Publicity Waiver

Unless informed otherwise, Tumble Express Gymnastics and Dance will consider photographs taken of Tumble Express students to be permissible for publication in Tumble Express Gymnastics and Dance informational publications, including the web, and newspaper.  Please do not submit your own pictures or articles to any newspaper or publication about your child in connection with Tumble Express without prior approval from Patty Grove.

The Acrodance Teams of Tumble Express  exist in order to provide students who are interested in a serious gymnastics/dance education the opportunity to pursue their goals.  Commitment, competence, conditioning, and community outreach will be cornerstones of the team. Team goals include offering an on-going program of performances in the community, participating regularly in educational conventions and competitions, and attending other area performances.  These activities will allow the more serious students to realize their potential and broaden their frame of reference through performing and observing the art of dance.
